Idaho Bulletin broke the news on our Facebook page on Saturday morning that Ammon Bundy was arrested at 1:30 a.m. at St. Lukes in Meridian, for the third time in less than three years.

This arrest follows a traffic stop at the Chevron at 38th and Chinden in Garden City, prompting Bundy’s social media supporters to call for people to go to the traffic stop and record video and take pictures. Witnesses said there were multiple arrests and a minor child – thought to be the grandson of Diego Rodriguez, a Bundy campaign communications consultant and the man behind FreedomMan PAC – was placed with Child Protective Services.

Bundy was arrested early Saturday morning.

CPS took the child to St. Luke’s Meridian for evaluation, and Bundy and his supporters showed up in protest, and he was arrested there. As of 7 a.m. Saturday, there were still a number of people gathered at St. Luke’s and Meridian Police had called in support from the Boise Police Department.

Bundy, who is a candidate for Idaho Governor, issued a statement on his campaign Facebook page saying he was taking a stand against medical tyranny and standing up for the rights of parents.

This is Bundy’s third arrest in Idaho in less than 3 years. Please check our Facebook page and this site for updates on this developing story.
